The Riverbed Weave Pair capture the rhythmic energy of water moving over stone. Hand-carved vertical fluting wraps around the body, mimicking the disciplined patterns of a reed basket or the steady ripple of a current.  Draped in a rich, cerulean blue glaze, the surface features painterly breaks of misty white and deep indigo. These colours pool and streak across the ridges, creating a visual "weave" that feels like sunlight dancing on a moving riverbed. The glaze breaks beautifully at the edges of the carvings to reveal warm, bronzed undertones, grounding the ethereal blues in the honest grit of the clay.
