If Nètsanèt is the act of breaking free, Tèsfaye is the light that follows. Named after the Amharic word for "My Hope," this piece captures the optimistic energy of a garden in full bloom. It is the second chapter in my shift toward a more fluid, organic aesthetic—a vessel that prioritises spirit and movement over rigid perfection.
The glazing on Tèsfaye is a deliberate study in earthy transitions. I have leant into the experimental, allowing the colours to bleed and pool in ways that mimic the soft, uncurling petals of a spring flower. It is a reminder of the hope that comes with new beginnings and the beauty found in letting go. Yunomi, holds just right.
