The Oriental Wave Set is a tribute to the rhythmic, eternal movement of the deep. It is a collection that captures the precise moment a Great Wave swells, frozen in the stillness of high-fired black stoneware.

Each vessel is defined by an intricate, hand-carved texture that wraps around its body—a series of undulating, nested lines that mimic the hypnotic pull of the tide. This tactile "wave" is rendered in a raw, umber clay that feels ancient and grounded. Above the crest of these carvings, a rich, iron-saturated glaze flows like molten silk. It pools in shades of scorched caramel and deep espresso, breaking over the edges with the unpredictable beauty of sea spray hitting a rugged coastline.
